Dates for 2012 Workshops and Speaking Engagements
Workshops:

Bring Your Manuscript to Publication
Instructor: Alberta Sequeira (Rochester, MA)

This is a relaxed course on learning what query letters, synopsis, and book proposals are all about. Students will be taught that the first step is to start writing their first sentence today! You don't need to spend every spare moment at the computer. A half-hour a day will bring it together. Pushing it aside and forgetting about it will never fulfill your dream of having that special book published.

Alberta Sequeira is a four-time award winning author. She is not a professional counselor but an ordinary woman who speaks from the heart on the loss of her husband, Richard Lopes, and their daughter, Lori Cahill, both formally from North Dighton to this horrible, worldwide disease. Listen to her mistakes and the changes she would make today. Ms. Sequeira will speak on The Effect of Alcoholism on the Whole Family and wants the reality of the dangers of this disease to be known. It's not that it may, would or could kill. It will. This is a relaxed two hour open session for family members, friends of the abusers, teenagers, and anyone interested in learning how enabling an abuser can allow them to go deeper into their addiction. She will also discuss how the non-drinker copes with the emotional and physical toll.

Inspiring the Poet in You
